The extruder consists of a base frame, a gearbox, and a distribution unit with special bearings designed to ensure optimal operation under a backpressure of up to 150 bar.

The barrel is a modular cylindrical type with a working length of 37 diameters, divided into eight segments. Each barrel segment is temperature-controlled via forced circulation of demineralized water through horizontally drilled channels in every module.

Heating is provided by cartridge heaters. The screws feature interchangeable segments and are mounted on splined shafts, allowing configuration for optimal processing based on requirements.

Barrels and screws are manufactured from highly wear-resistant steel.

The degassing system consists of a 1.5 kW liquid ring vacuum pump connected to the designated module through easy-to-clean piping; extracted gases are discharged into a dedicated trap for simple cleaning.

The drive includes a Siemens AC motor with 51 kW power, complete with inverter, mounted in a cabinet equipped with the required safety devices and status indicators.

The integrated control panel is divided into two sections: Power supply and temperature control.

The cabinet is equipped with an air conditioner.

The extruder includes a closed-circuit water/water temperature control unit (pump: 1.1 kW).
