The FORMA Z is the most flexible and versatile folding machine in our portfolio. With the FORMA Z, material can be bent both upwards and downwards, eliminating the need to flip the workpiece. This enables a single operator to quickly bend complex sheet metal parts. The rotating combination upper beam can switch between two tooling setups, and its unique geometry provides you with an unrivaled working area. The automatic tool locking system is fast and incorporates ergonomic features for effortless tool changes. The folding beam is equipped with automatic crowning, automatic center adjustment, and automatic sheet thickness adjustment, which ensures superior bending quality across all sheet thicknesses and along the entire bending length. The large number of vacuum grippers holds the workpiece securely at any position on the back gauge – whether handling large or small sheets, single pieces or multiples. The back gauge is available in several versions, giving you options for machine operation and sheet guidance to and from the machine. Additionally, the FORMA Z is fast, allowing you to produce more in less time!

- The machine is supplied with a comprehensive laser safety system, featuring a scanner on the folding beam side and light barriers at the front and rear of the machine.
- The rotating upper beam is equipped with a 30° pointed rail and a 203 mm high gooseneck tool.
- As standard, the machine comes in Multifolding configuration – both folding and lower beams feature segmented tooling.
- The back gauge is optionally available with vacuum grippers or height adjustment. The minimum dimension is 6 mm with spring steel fingers. Vacuum grippers make operation easier, more precise, and more automated!
