Carel HeaterSteam UR020HL10S isothermal steam humidifier

The Carel HeaterSteam UR020HL10S is an isothermal steam humidifier. It generates steam by heating elements immersed in a steam cylinder filled with water. Either standard tap water or fully demineralized water can be used. The heat generated by the heating elements raises the water temperature to 100°C.

For optimal performance of the humidifier, the produced steam must be evenly distributed throughout the room to avoid droplet formation and condensate accumulation. This is achieved either by using ventilated steam distributors or steam lances. The choice of steam distributor depends on the application area where the steam is to be introduced. For direct room humidification (in rooms, production halls, etc.), ventilated steam distributors (optional) with a motor-driven fan should be used. For duct or air handling unit (AHU) applications, steam lances must be used, taking advantage of the speed of the passing air for effective humidification.
