We hereby offer you a used PET bottle crusher from the manufacturer BOREMA, model R-1200 F, year of manufacture 2013, for the residual emptying, degassing, and pre-compaction of supplied PET bottles ranging from 0.3 to 2.5 liters in capacity. The machine is equipped with a chassis and can be driven in and out of the feed hopper of your baler. The machine has a throughput capacity of approximately 85,000 bottles, corresponding to around 3 tons per hour.

Applications:
Thanks to the chassis, the PET compactor can be moved into the feed hopper of your baler as needed, ensuring the residual emptying, degassing, and pre-compaction of fed bottles and packaging. For material changes, the compactor is simply removed from the feed hopper, allowing continued baling of paper, cardboard, films, etc. without the use of the compactor.

BOREMA PET compactor process:
The plastic containers are drawn in by two rotating shafts. One of the rotating shafts is pneumatically pre-tensioned by two air bellows and presses the PET bottles against the second rotating shaft with 16 t of pressure. This crushes, bursts, and degasses the closed plastic container. Residual liquids are drained, and the material drops pre-compacted into the baler. In the event of contaminants, the pneumatically pre-tensioned shaft moves aside and the contaminant is passed through.
Key advantages compared to conventional PET perforators with punch spikes or knives:
The BOREMA process is significantly more efficient and wear-resistant than conventional PET perforators with spikes or knives. The greatest advantage is that introduced contaminants such as metal parts, stones, bottles with frozen content, and wood pieces are guided through by the pneumatically yielding rotor shaft without the system stopping or suffering major damage. In conventional perforators, spikes or knives may break or become so jammed with contaminants that the system must be shut down and extensively repaired.
