PAFIX thread cutting head for CNC machines
- The PAFIX CNC head has been specifically developed for all machines with programmable forward and reverse rotation to the tool holder (turret, spindle, etc.).
- It is extremely compact and equipped with a positive-fit release coupling that can be set to three different extension lengths as required.
- The head can be set to two different programmed threading cycles. Both cycles provide a certain pitch compensation (float).
- For faultless thread cutting with precise start point and accurate thread depth/length, spring-loaded pitch adjustment and overload slip clutches have been deliberately omitted. The PAFIX CNC allows for quick changeover from threading head to cutting head – simply unscrew the clamping nut and replace with the cutting head housing.
