PAFIX Thread Cutting Head for CNC Machines
• The PAFIX CNC head has been specifically developed for all machines with programmable forward and reverse feed to the tool holder (turret, spindle, etc.).
It is extremely compact and features a positive-locking disengagement clutch that can be set to three different extraction lengths if required.
• The head can be set to two different programmed tapping cycles. Both cycles ensure a certain amount of pitch compensation (float).
To guarantee error-free thread cutting with a precise starting point and precise thread depth or length, spring thread pitch adjustment and overload slip clutches have been deliberately omitted. The PAFIX CNC allows quick changeover between the tapping head and the cutting head. Simply unscrew the clamping nut and replace it with the cutting head housing.
