Horizontal cartoner for inserting products into folding cartons, including hot-melt glue module for carton sealing. Suitable for a wide variety of products (solid items) such as tubes, bottles/vials, ampoules, vials, blister packs, cosmetic jars, vacuum-packed food. In addition to the product, a brochure or package insert, e.g. for instructions for use or manuals, can be included. The fully automatic packaging process comprises product infeed, carton erecting, product insertion, brochure/leaflet insertion, carton closing, gluing and onward conveying. Rapid changeover between different carton sizes within the range is easily achieved via parameter adjustment (no format or pocket change required). PLC control, touchscreen operation panel (menu available in several languages, e.g. English, German, etc.).
