Operating principle:
The technology combines the process engineering advantages of a drum dryer with those of a fluidized bed dryer:
• Rotary bed mechanism: The wet product lies inside on a perforated flow bed (perforated sheet). A targeted mechanical movement or tumbling in combination with the airflow creates a rotating or rolling product movement ("rotary bed").
• Counter-current or cross-current ventilation: The drying air is blown from below through the sieve bed and flows intensively through the tumbling product. This ensures an optimal heat and mass exchange.

Main features & advantages:
• Low-temperature drying: The plant is ideally designed for operation with waste heat or low-temperature heat sources (e.g., from combined heat and power plants/CHP or industrial residual energy).
• Long residence time: This enables particularly gentle dewatering of the material while simultaneously ensuring high homogeneity of the residual moisture.
• Robust particle processing: In contrast to pure fluidized beds, large, irregular, or sticky particles can also be processed economically.
• Integrated screening: The flow effectively reduces fine dust and sand content during the process.
